Work by the Sardinian sculptor Pinuccio Sciola. These rocks have been carved to produce resonant sounds when rubbed by the hand or by other rocks.

About the Museum

The Museum of Acoustic Geology (MoAG) was founded in July 2009. We promote the listening in on rocks and acoustic phenomena related to different eons, epochs, and eras of geologic time.

We have recently opened a branch on Cockatoo Island, Australia.
