I've Barely Been Here

Sound artist Chris Kallmyer created a series of installations at the Headlands Center of the Arts. He collected objects from the rocky landscape of the Marin Headlands, both sound-objects and rock-objects, for one of the pieces titled "Objects found in a place."

About the Museum

The Museum of Acoustic Geology (MoAG) was founded in July 2009. We promote the listening in on rocks and acoustic phenomena related to different eons, epochs, and eras of geologic time.

We have recently opened a branch on Cockatoo Island, Australia.
